HONDA has revealed its latest impressive model with a top speed of 134mph – and it’s a lawnmower.
The Japanese giant is set to produce a follow-up to their Mean Mower, which claimed the title of the world’s fastest lawnmower back in 2014.
The latest super powered ride-on grass cutter is fitted with the same 1,000cc engine found in the brand new CBR1000RR Fireblade, which gives it around 189bhp.
And while it is yet to be proved, Honda claims the superbike-powered mower will be able top 134mph – which would make it even faster than a 2017 Honda Civic hatchback.
Honda first revealed its desire to create the world’s fastest lawnmower in 2013, when they created the Mean Mower in collaboration with their British Touring Car Championship partner, Team Dynamics.
The lawnmower grabbed the world record in March 2014, when it hit 116.57mph at the IDIADA proving ground near Barcelona.

The record was broken in late 2015 by the Norwegian Speed Factory team on a modified Viking T6 lawnmower which topped out at 133mph.
The Japanese manufacturer is now set on reclaiming their title, and promises its latest Mean Mower will be able to achieve it.
According to Honda, Fast and Furious Live stunt driver, Jessica Hawkins, will be at the wheel of the new Mk2 model when it finally hits the track, but no test date has been set.
