A MOTORS expert has revealed that you car may have a hidden tool inside that can help you keep it clean for free.

The cleaning whizz from Car Wash King explained that one particular model comes with a handy gadget that makes detailing a breeze.

They wrote: “According to the US Census Bureau, car owners spend nearly £4.9 billion a year at car wash facilities.

“In the last ten years, more than 70% of car owners used car wash facilities instead of washing their cars at home.”

The expert suggested this could be something to do with the effort that goes into cleaning your motor, particularly having to lug the vacuum cleaner outside.

Fortunately, though, one big-name manufacturer appears to have come up with an ingenious solution.

The Honda Odyssey has a built-in vacuum with an extra-long hose to get in all the nooks and crannies it’s usually almost impossible to reach.

This lets you hoover up crumbs, dust and dirt throughout the car at the push of a button.

The vacuum is secreted away behind a side panel in the boot, making it as discreet as it is effective.

All you have to do is flick the switch, pull out the hose and get cleaning.

When you’re done, you can simply switch it off and replace it in its hiding place.

Just make sure to change the bag now and again, the method for which can be found in your owner’s manual.

However, there are a couple of major catches.

First of all, ShopVac, the company that supplied the vacuum, went bust in 2020, so you’ll need to find an Odyssey from before the 2022 model year to get one.

Specifically, you need a model from between 2014 and 2021.

Even worse, the seven-seater is quite difficult to find in the UK.

It is made in Alabama and exported to Canada, Mexico and the Middle East, but not Britain.

A few are available online, though, and they are very reasonably priced at between £5,000 and £14,000.

Drivers should just bear in mind that all examples will come with right-hand drive.

It comes after a different cleaning expert revealed a £2.89 Tesco essential that can leave your bodywork sparkling.

Meanwhile, The Sun Online gave readers a look inside the jaw-dropping car collections of the Beckham family.
